AdsPals

Seller terms

Last updated August 2026

These apply when you list advertising space on AdsPals. Read the short version first: you approve every post, you keep it up (and pinned, where you sold pinning) for the full booking, and you get paid when the booking is served.

Getting paid

Your earnings go into your own Stripe account as soon as a booking completes, and they are yours from that moment. AdsPals never holds them; they sit in your account, not ours.

We send them on to your bank once they pass $150. If they have not reached that, we send them anyway within 90 days, sooner in some countries. Batching payouts this way is what keeps the marketplace fee where it is: every payout costs us a fixed amount regardless of size, and a great many tiny ones would have to come out of your rate instead.

You do not have to wait for us. Your balance is visible in your Stripe dashboard and you can pay it out to your bank yourself at any time.

Buyers pay a $1.50 booking fee on top of your price. It is not deducted from your price and does not change what you receive.

What you are selling

A sponsored post to your audience, at the price you set. You may also offer to pin that post to the top of your profile for 7 days, priced separately. One booking at a time for each of the two, so a post and a pinned post can run together.

Disclosure is yours

You are the publisher. The post goes out from your account, in your name, to your audience, and the legal duty to make it obviously an advert is yours. AdsPals does not publish anything and cannot disclose on your behalf.

  • Every sponsored post must carry #ad. Where the buyer wrote the wording, we put it there for you and it must not be removed or edited. Where you write the wording, you must include it yourself.
  • We check for it before a placement starts, and refuse to start one without it. That is a check, not a substitute for your own judgement: rules differ by country and yours are the ones that apply to you.
  • Turn on X’s Paid Partnership label as well where you can. It is not a replacement for #ad, and on its own it is not enough, but the two together are what regulators ask for.
  • The optional via @AdsPalsHQ credit is a marketplace fee choice. It is not, and never replaces, an advertising disclosure.

Your responsibilities

  • Review each booking before accepting. You are publishing it, so you own it, including the disclosure on it.
  • Keep the post up and undeleted for the whole 7 days.
  • For a pinned booking, pin the post promptly after accepting. That rental, and your payment, do not start until it is pinned, and it must stay pinned throughout.
  • Do not edit, delete or replace the sponsored post during a booking.
  • Keep your X connection and Stripe details current.

If you decline

Declining is always allowed and costs you nothing. The buyer gets the post price back. If you do not respond within 24 hours the booking expires and is refunded automatically.

If a booking is interrupted

If the post is deleted, or a pinned post stops being pinned, we tell you and you have 2 hours to put it right it. Time lost is added to the end of the booking. If it is not restored, we may refund the buyer in part or in full, and your earnings for that booking are reduced accordingly.

Payouts

  • Your earnings sit as pending while the booking runs.
  • They are transferred to your connected Stripe account once the booking completes.
  • We hold payouts on bookings where the payment is being disputed, until the dispute is resolved.

Suspension

We may remove your listing or suspend your account if you repeatedly fail to publish, fail to pin, remove sponsored posts early, or break the advertising rules.
